In 1977, Aksan Kalip San ve Tic A.S was established in Istanbul,   Turkey  to serve as a subcontractor company which is manufacturer of electromechanical components mainly used in consumer electronic.

In 1993, Aksan, which  showed  activity till that time mainly on the  field of sheet metal   processing in Turkey, estaiblished Mikroak Ltd as the first ever joint-venture with a Bulgarian Government Company Mikroelektronika AD to start connector / interconnection systems manufacturing.

In 1997, Aksan has bought the rest of the government shares, thus Mikroak Ltd. has become 100% foreign owned. Thus, the range of product has expanded by the time and Aksan became a  manufacturer of various kinds of sheet metal stamping parts, interconnection systems and plastic parts for different fields like automotive, consumer electronic, white goods, industrial applications etc.

Aksan is a company which not only produces plastic parts, metal parts and assemblies of  them, also designes and produces the necessary stamping tools , plastics molds, and automated assembly lines in house for just her own requirements of manufacturing. Consequently, Aksan has the degree of flexibility during all these stages of design and production in order to respond to the requests of the customers such as design changes, material changes etc

Our flexibility is combined with fast response, high quality and very significant cost effectiveness advantages by Turkey and Bulgaria.

The company currently operates in a 6.500 sqm closed premises on 7.500 sqm site . The site is in Istanbul , which lies 30 km outside of the city center towards west which it is linked with a motorway. Geographical location has very advantages such as an International airport and motorway links, its vicinity to the Bosphorous and waterway access to Europe, Mediterranean and the Black sea.

In 2004, after having a 27 year experience on metal processing, Aksan also started to produce roll-up doors for tracks under the license of Whiting Door Manufacturing Corp. which has more than 50% market share in USA.
